I would think a compass would work pretty well on our F6B's... since there is a lot of "plastic"

Anyone install a floating ball type compass; like this on their F6B?

I want to "fill in" the area to the right of my GPS with "something" since the left side of the GPS has the Steel Mate TPMS reciever installed.

I need "balance" :shhh: in my immediate field of view.

Just a thought... will speaker magnets cause an accuracy issue with a Compass.

Hmmm. They could

...maybe this is NOT an optimum location for a farkle of this type. :shhh:

Doesn't your GPS already have a compass on it? Most Garmin's do.

It does, I'm just trying to find a gizmo to complete the space to the right of the GPS. It's bugging the crap out of me... :shhh:

I thought about a compass too....I get lost a lot. Get out on some country road, forget it.

I use a suction cup one i put on the windshield (inside) but after speaker upgrade it has to be rather high on shield as to not have magnetic interference

Yes, I have that particular one mounted on the left side (left upper area of the radio control console). I ALSO have the Honda Analog voltmeter installed on the right fairing area; next to the key lock for the center console.

So I have two of them... don't need a third :icon_lol: I have been meaning to decommission the digital one since I installed the analog version... just haven't got 'round toit :icon_wink:

Ask them if there is a way to calibrate their compass and if there is you should be able to calibrate the compass to compensate for its closeness to the magnetic effect of the magnets on the speakers.
