I like my white ones. Get comments all the time. I made covers that I adhered to the rings to cover the direct light because they are so bright. The effect was to use the rings to illuminate the custom Hambly badges . Works great.

Jimmy? Did you mount the rings behind the Hambly? I have the Hamblys' and am thinking of this. Got a pic of it off?

I used those plastic suction cup mounting discs. They come in different sizes, but the ones I have are 79.98 mm. They measured 3.149" with my calipers. I had a couple laying around. I used a hole saw to cut out the inside diameter leaving a ring. I just measured the inside diameter I cut with the hole saw and it measures at 2.44". Simply take the disc and secure it to a block of wood with a couple screws on the soon to be discarded center area and slowly cut with a hole saw. Drill holes in the places you are putting the screw so you don't risk splitting the plastic by driving screws through it. The screws are just to hold the piece while you use the hole saw. I used a file to smooth out any rough ridges in the plastic from the cut.

I secured them to the top surface of the light rings with black RTV sealant. It's been over a year and still good.

Here are some 80 mmm discs I found quickly on Amazon.

On the B, you can never have too many lights---as long as they don't look tacky. Thanks Rick. Just ordered mine.

They all can blink with your turn signals if you wire them that way. Mine are for illumination of the badges.

There are some that change from white to amber when becoming the turn signal.
It does not sound as though these do that.

There are not any rings for the F6B or GoldWing like this that turn white to amber at the moment. We are working on that though. Cost is going to more then the single light color.

The first ones to come out did not have the blink function. I did install the amber/turn signal version on my new wing... the are 1/2 as bright as the originals and blink...very nice !!!

Explain these then...

Those are not the same at all. They are as described, "Illumination". They are different LED's. Hard to compare something that is compacted Nano LED's and are as bright as daylight driving lights to generic illumination LED's.

Those also look like they are mounted underneath or"behind" the badges which is different.

If they are as bright as the current version you sell, I will def buy a set.

The white set I bought from Value Accessories are incredibly bright, match my led headlights & drls perfectly, and make me a lot more visible to cagers, especially from the side.

I assumed both go "behind" the badge... as the products neither change the size of the badge or its recess in either case.
Does anyone have some close-up pictures that show the difference?
[Perhaps this is not the thread to take that up in. I wasn't trying to hijack the Vendor here.]

No they go on top of the badge.

No they go on top of the badge.

AAAAHHHHhhhhhh....... Now I see. Totally understand the difference.
I think I prefer a slight glow from the back and edges.
Thanx.

Hey Rick, sent you a PM. Was wanting to know if you have the Pathfinder LEDs in stock and whether I could get those shipped to me by Thursday?

I answered your PM. We do have the Pathfinder Headlight LED's in stock and can ship immediately. Everything out tomorrow on Monday is FedEx or UPS though because of the Gov't holiday.
I installed the Pathfinders on my own F6B. Besides putting out an impressive amount of light they match all the other LED lighting on the bike including the White Rings.

Love the fogs. Do you have them switched or do they come on with the engine on like the low beams?

You guys don't mess around Rick. The package with the LED low beams and Pathfinder fog lights arrived. Thanks for the awesome service. Hope to spend Sunday installing everything. I had the cowl off the other day to trim the fog light inserts out. The rest should be gravy.

I got my Pathfinder low beams yesterday. I contacted Rick after returning from a ride on Sunday and realizing I had lost one of my headlights. I have a ride I'm leaving for tomorrow and wanted to get my lights before the ride. Pretty happy.

Rick,
Were there ever "switching" ones that were white running but flashed amber with the turn signal?

Cheers,
Steve

No, We are still working down the Amber's.
If we did ever do it they would be a lot more expensive and we would have to have a large order to do it. A lot of people say they are interested, but actually purchasing is a totally different story.

We are the only company that has these rings from TricLed. We do not know of anyone else that has anything like this and this bright. People have compared to different products (back lighting) that are not the same.
There have not been any made in this size yet that are switchable from white to amber. These are basically the same as day light driving lights as far as visibility to oncoming traffic.

They have made some in different sizes for different applications that have different colors and switch different ways.
