One small case in point:
During the final Presidential debate while discussing the ongoing military operation to free Mosul, Clinton stated that "Mosul is on the Syrian border". In actuality, Mosul is about 100 miles from the border. Now...if Trump (or any other Republican) had made that statement, the media would have been all over it...stating how inept and ignorant that candidate is...how they have no knowledge of the region, are not qualified to be President, and most likely engage in a virtual dog-pile with their ridicule. Absolutely nothing from anyone in the media that I have seen so far. Hillary can apparently do no wrong. Email scandal? National security violations? Pay for play? Public and private positions that differ depending on the audience?... etc, etc. We no longer have an unbiased media whose primary role is providing unvarnished information while holding our leaders accountable. We now have nothing more than a parochial, unashamedly biased PR machine whose function is more akin to acting as the propaganda wing of the Democrat party.
Joseph Goebbels would be impressed and amazed at the efficiency and the willingness of today's media to parrot the party line without duress or prompting. This combined with our woefully uneducated, uninformed, and increasingly entitlement dependent population consisting of the left's useful idiots ("Polyezniy Idiots", as described by Vladimir Lenin)...and the future of America as we know it is in serious trouble. Take a look at Western Europe....we are headed down that trail. This of course, is my personal opinion.
