Does anyone know what type of connector i need to purchase to tie into the factory power harness?

Sort of depends what part of the bike you are trying to connect into, for power.
Wingstuff has this connector you could use; if you are trying to tap into power under the left side cubby hole box:

I am using it for providing a power run to the analog voltmeter I mounted on the right side of the fairing.

I'm looking to create a seperate harness to connect all my addons. Should i decide to sell i want to be able to pull the addons off with the additional harness bringing the bikeback to stock

Easy thing to do is just add a fuse panel and hook all your add on to it

Then you probably should go after a fuse block, Here is one from one of our vendors:
