Shoei NeoTech Cheek Pad Snaps Unsnapping

Got me a Shoei NeoTech, love it. However, when putting it on my head, or just handing it, the cheek pad snaps unsnap. Not putting a lot of pleasure on it. They snap right back in, but becoming a pain.

Do I need to put something on the male or female snaps to make them hold?

It would be hard to tell which part of the snap is at fault. I think I would call Shoei Customer Service and explain the problem. They may send you another set of pads. That's too nice of a helmet ($$$) to have this issue. I really like mine.
