I'm aware of 'other solutions', but my EZtag might fit behind the garnish on my F6B. I am assuming it might as the F6B is void of all 'adjustable shield' items found on the other G-wings. (Heck, maybe the Wing guys are able to do this anyway, dunno)

Not really seeing any reason why it wouldn't work there,,, 'Out of sight, out of mind' and out of the way,,,

Has anyone else tried it?

Mine is mounted under the center glove (empty air bag) box lid. Like you say, out of sight, out of mind. Signal goes right thru the plastic, no different than auto glass.

I have it mounted behind the windshield garnish and it works fine. I had it mounted the same way on a ST1300.

Here in FL we call that a Sun Pass... and we use chip technology.... the chip is very small but it comes between a pad that is applied to the windshield in a car, I cut mine down to the size a quarter and stuck it to the windshield of the bike...

TX has a similar 'chip' for cars, but they (still) send the old box type (3/8 thick and about the size of a credit card) for MC's,,,

We had those as well and somewhat bigger....I used two sided taped and placed mine under the plastic inside the bumper...you can do the same thing on the F6 on the front.....

I'll have the garnish off swapping out shields soon. I'll shmuck the tag in there and button it back together.

Thanks all!
