Crazy and sad. When it’s your time it’s your time.
Wow.
It's rainy season here in FL. Lots of rain, lots of lightening.
Poor guy......Sometimes you get caught in it & there's no place to get away from it. I95 would be one of those places.
Got to disagree a bit Olegoat...I'm in Treasure Coast Florida south of Daytona and you can see these storms coming a long way off. Plenty of places along that section of 95 to find cover within 15 minutes.
Not finding fault as I have tried to beat the rain home many times, but lightning going on ahead is a bit different IMHO of course. Hard way for the rest of us to learn by loosing a brother rider, but please try to avoid these thunder and lightning storms...and be safe out there.

One of our past forum members was struck by lightning on his way home from the first national rally. He was listening to FM radio through headphone jack. Lightning hit his helmet and exited through the antenna. Blew out both eardrums, fried the electrical on the bike but he kept the bike up, rolled to a stop and lived to tell about it.
Lightning. That’s what you call “The finger of God” at times like that. The motorcyclist was called home.
R.I.P.
Thanks guys. I had to go on a hiatus of a sort. All is good with me. I am still riding my F6B.
Kind of interesting that my post count deprecated over six thousand plus. Not sure what was going on with this board but I do know we lost HUGE amounts of valuable data for our members.
Sad.
I’ll make more effort to be present again.
