I'm trying to disable mine.....damn things are a PITA.
Yes, while I'm very happy my Deluxe has a centerstand, I could easily do without the self cancelling turn signals. I find myself cancelling them manually after 40 years of habit and freaking hate how they are cancelling themselves before I even get to the turn half the time.Quote:

For those who want their signals to stay on longer: On another site they figured out how to extend the signal each time you tap your brakes. Seems like a great idea. I haven't done it yet due to other projects, but it is coming. Just some wire and either a relay or a transistor (owner's preference).
With these responses from you folks, maybe I'll leave well enough alone... i have them on my Kawa Vulcan 1700 Classic and they work really well. But maybe Ma Honda didn't get them right.

I seem to remember, several years ago, someone make a after market, self cancelling flasher. Anybody know anything about them?? They were co$tly back then. I think it's great the things they can do with a teeny, tiny chip.
