First 2022 ride to work
Today was my first ride to work of 2022. Had to cross a 5' wide strip of ice to get to the road. Decided to do it quickly (relatively quickly that is) and smoothly and it worked out fine. Once I hit the road, I headed West under that big predawn moon. I could feel my goober grin become unstoppable as I said a prayer of thanks to my maker for my blessings and earth's beauty.
The ride home this afternoon involved gusting crosswinds from the South as I enjoyed one of my favorite rural highways, Indiana 42. Bike is tucked back in the shop now with a full tank of gas waiting on the next break in the weather.
Life is good.

Be safe fellow hoosier. I see warmth on the horizon (rain too).
