Had several Wings and a Valkyrie.
New to this site/forum today.
Lots of interesting conversation. Came in to get a feel for bringing the exhaust note up a notch or two, deeper throat, more soul.
I've had several WIngs, starting with the 1200, then a 1500, at the same time I had a 98 Valkyrie "sister" for over 10 years.
I got the Valk with a great exhaust note. The previous owner noted all he did was cut off the "piggies" to produce a rumble and throat that made old ladies turn and smile, and harley guys look around in confusion !
I sold the Valkyrie Tourer due to a back problem and the harder ride. I found later this was a mistake.
Then I sold the 1500 Wing noting I no longer felt the need to be able to pack a weeks worth of luggage to go for a 200 mile ride.
In a moment of foolishness and lost intelligence, I bought a 99 BMW K1200LTC. :icon_frown: WHOA.. now this was a true MISTAKE !!
Over-engineered, under powered, top heavy, impossible to work on, parts that would seem they include a round trip ticket to Germany ! All complimented by a design flaw in the final drive. I went thru two rear ends in 5000 miles.
Eight months later I walked into the Honda dealer and .......the F6B and I made eye contact, and my wife has another mistress ! !
So a long answer to your current question is ...YES.
I'll continue to research idea and suggestions here regarding improving the exhaust note to the F6B...
