When I rolled into Vegas this past Monday it was hovering between 106 and 108. But happily I had my camel back, evaporation vest and neck wrap ..In my top box.

Got out early yesterday morning from North Las Vegas and rode up to Zion, much better. It was a little warm in Zion, but nothing compared to Vegas.
Left Vegas on Friday and went to Bryce Canyon for the night. Saturday we went from Bryce to Moab. Did Arches on Sunday morning and then road on to Durango. Hoping to see you guys on Wednesday and maybe join one of the rides on Friday.
Cancelled my room, life got in the way, will miss being their, have fun. Choptop
Here. Riding early in the am with AZ Wingrider....
For those new to the high altitudes, don't be surprised at the octane ratings on the gas pumps. 85 octane at Colorado altitudes has the same anti-knock as 87 at the low altitudes. I run the 85 all the time and it never pings. Take it to lower elevations, and ping, ping, ping.
Wish we could upload photos from the phone.
I hope y’all are having a grand time. I know there are lots of HD riders in CO who are super jealous today.
Y'all have fun & be safe out there today!
Cheers,
Steve

Just curious, what were the attendance figures for the Cortez rally?
It was nice meeting everyone and thanks again to Rick and the "Value Accessories" team!

When I was leaving Zion there was a wait at the long tunnel but there were only about six or seven vehicles ahead of me so I just stayed in line. My experience has always been that the waits are usually just a few minutes. When traveling west on highway 9 the long slow climb towards the tunnels usually means that when I stop the fans come on. I wait for them to cycle and then kill the motor and enjoy the view until its time to move on. Zion is such a marvelously beautiful place that it is hard not to have a good time even with crowds.
I urge everyone to visit Zion if they are ever in the area it is one of the most beautiful of our National Parks.

We were in Zion the week before the Cortez Rally. Did have to wait a bit right there, was up front at beginning of line.
Yes I did have the purple Spyder right then.
