I had an ST1300 nearly rode the wheels off it. I find the F6B better handling and easier to ride. I'm mostly an off road rider having difficulty staying off the F6B:crackup::041:

I got rid of my 98 Valk tourer in 2001 , then have been regretting it since, and always looking for the same feeling as riding the Valk. I have countless bike since. I traded my 2011 Kawasaki vaquero with 20k on the clock for a preowned black F6b, got a good deal and the Valk feeling is back x10.
Here's my twisted trail to a black F6B.

2011) 2007 Yamaha Stratoliner
2012) 2009 BMW R1200RT
2013) 2013 F6B Deluxe
2013) Warning from the boss not to buy another bike :wife:
Wife wanted to ride again, but not on the back of the XT1200Z
I have riddin Wings for 15 years and been very pleased untill I began to have a few issues with my back. (Moving around slowly in tight places, dropped 1 time and had fits uprighting the wing) My son suggested test riding a lighter bike. So I did. 1st was the Concours 1400, Then the Honda St 1300, And last but not least the FJR1300. All of these are good machines, but something was missing. There was no way I could spend a whole day on one of these. Then my salesman in Searcy Ark said ride this. (An f6b) I had not seen one up close. He felt that it would be a good fit. It was and is. After some barganing I traded my 07 Navi Wing. I made it home just before the weather got cold and icy and here I sit with only 100 miles in the saddle wanting to ride. Like this forum

From BMW...
Still have ( maybe not for long) HD Street Glide
2013- 2002 Honda Shadow 750
2013- 2004 Honda VTX1300s
2014- F6B
Moved up in weight as I got comfortable with each size.
Well...I have been since 1997 anyway. I am on my second Valkyrie (Interstate) and have been feeling I wanted to do something new but frankly haven't really seen anything that pulled my bobber under the water.I went to the dealer today with my wife to look at the new Wings and F6B's and I must say I was quite intrigued by the F6B. The dealer shot me an almost unbelievable price for my Valkyrie in trade. Weather was not good enough to ride in today, going back next Saturday. It is the deluxe model with the larger windshield.
He is also giving me 1000 in Honda bucks. Hope to report back in next week as a new owner!
Hey Dave, I remember your name from the VRCC and think I saw you a couple years ago at a Valkyrie rally in Northern Mich...I too was a Valkaholic and loved my 99 Black Tourer I rode for over 6 years...but, the F6B is better in everyway in my opinion..More power, handles better, love the fairing, rides better and is just plain more fun to ride...I have a 11"-19" Baggershield, Cobra 6-2-6 pipes, custom painted, Kury grips, and some chrome goodies....This is the nicest bike I have had in my 45+ years of riding and I know you will not be disappointed in your choice....Keep us posted on what transpires and Good Luck......
Through the years:
mini-bike
Yamaha YZ-80
Yamaha 125 trail bike
'83 Suzuki GS 850
'87 Goldwing
'01 Valkyrie Interstate, totaled 2011
'97 Road King, purchased fall 2013, hated the vibration
'13 F6B Deluxe, early March
I was excited to hear about the new Valkyrie, but it's just too short. Saw the F6B and fell hard for it. Found a great deal on 5,000 mile and purchased with out riding it. Have ridden it around the block and now waiting for the temps to hit above 30 and dry pavement here in the Twin Cities.
Honda ST 1300 for me
77 Suzuki GS 750. Purchased with 5000 miles in 1979. Sold in 1984 with 50,000 miles, mostly just because I had ceased to have the proper amount of fear and respect for the bike and the road. It was fast, fun and reliable, as were most the generic 750's back then. Been watching the Goldwings off and on over the years, but could not resist the F6B. Only back in the saddle for a couple of weeks now, after a two-day BRC. Really I don't have the words to describe how enjoyable it has all been. Glad, also, to have found this forum where many seem to feel the same, especially the mod. Nice fellow.

Coming from an 07 Yamaha Midnight Roadstar Silverado I bought new and put 17000 miles on...put a lot of time in on that bike getting it just the way I wanted but just had an urge for the f6b... and I like to tinker and my Road* was just about as tinkered out! Time to start on the F6b!!
I traded 2 bikes for my F6B last Saturday. One was my '98 Valkyrie that I bought new in '98 and the other was my '08 Suzuki 650 V-Strom.
I still have my 97' Valk and the wife has an 08' 1200 Sportster. Thinking about selling my Valk :165fs373950:
I'm coming from an '06 Shadow 750. Put almost 60,000 miles on her (still keeping it as a daily commuter bike), but wanted something better suited for longer rides. After 2 or 3 weeks with the F6, I don't think it can get any better than this.
Triumph America.
the bikes I still have are an 86 Concours with carburetor problems I cant figure out. My 93 CBR1000F Hurricane which I am keeping and now my F6B. Arrived today. It's a little cold and windy here and I am dying to ride it. 70s this weekend .This was slightly used at 2k miles but has a lot of extras already. Funds are keeping things one at a time but running lights are a definite and not sure I like the double backrests on the seat,we'll see.
The last bike I owned before the F6B was a 2005 Honda ST1300.
Last bike I had was a 2008 VTX 1800N
Traded my 2012 Can Am Spyder RT-S for my F6B Black Deluxe. Had the Spyder for a year and it was great fun but I was really missing a 2 wheeler. I went to ride in the Vietnam Traveling Wall Memorial Escort ride in Melbourne Fl. last month and met a fella who had an F6B Black Deluxe. He let me sit on it and I was hooked. Got home and told the Mrs. about it and immediately started looking on the interwebs for more info.
Called my dealer in Kissimmee Fl., told him I wanted to trade up and worked out a deal on mine. Been lovin it the last two weeks now. Have the Cobra pipes on it minus the baffles.... Ooohhh so cool, a Baggershield 11" sport shield, Kyri Hwy Pegs on it already. Looking to maybe do a seat, and more lighting ASAP.
I've owned 5 Harley's in the past along with a couple other bikes over the years.
Traded in a 2004 VTX1300C with ultimate seats and sport backrest yesterday, and rode my new 2014 yellow F6B deluxe home from the dealership in the rain just yesterday.
I was always very happy with the VTX, but was ready for something new after 10 years on it, and I loved the look and feel of the F6B when I first checked it out a couple of weeks ago.
Valkyries.
After owning a six cylinder bike there is now way you can downgrade to anything less!
I traded in my 98 Black Valkyrie with cobra pipes.
I traded a Harley Heritage for the F6B. I had a VTX 1800 at one time so coming back to Honda felt pretty natural for me. The F6B is the most fun I've had on two wheels in a very long time. Spent all day out riding. I absolutely LOVE this bike.
Green 1995 SE & Red 1996 SE
After 35 + years of riding, I have owned close to 60 various motorcycles. I have owned a variety of bikes such as Honda's CX500T, '85 VF1000R, Hayabusa's, R1's, 83 Aspencade, 86 LE Wing and a bunch of Harleys.
I noticed the F6 a couple weeks ago while stopping at a local dealership during a ride. That is all it took! My last touring bike was an '01 HD Roadglide. Every year I end up having issues with one thing or another on it. Took the F6 for a test ride and walked out with it! Done! Best bike I have ridden by far! I realize this isn't for everyone but this is the bike I have been longing for since I bought my Glide new. :icon_lol:
I traded my 1999 Valkyrie I purchased new almost 15 years ago. Had about 66k miles on it.
Hi just joined the forum. Traded in my 2010 Honda VT1300 Interstate for a "new" 2013 F6B with ABS. Dealer threw in a center stand and the VERY expensive backrest/rack. Stock windshield is coming off and being replaced soon. http://i987.photobucket.com/albums/a...pspkmiesqk.jpg
Had an 83 GL1100I ......
have a NC700x...
I rode a '98 HONDA Shadow A.C.E Tourer across a lot of the U.S for the past 10 years. I always said if Honda would strip a Goldwing, I' buy it. Well, they did...so I did.
Not a bike. Sold my 1955 Chevy 210 Del Ray 2 door post car to have the cash for my F6B. Last bike I had was a Harley Davidson FXS Lowrider. I was looking at HD Street Glides and the F6B. At this stage of my life, the F6B is more appealing to me.
For those that know HD's model numbers, ya, it's been a while since I had a bike.
Sold my 2012 Victory Cross Country and traded in my 2011 Yamaha FJR to get my 2014 F6B Deluxe. :clap2:
I traded a 2007 Suzuki AN650A Burgman on the F6B. They gave me a good price on it too.

I've been intrigued by this bike since I heard of it a few years back. I am so happy to have acquired one.
