I'm an electrician myself but I'm going to say it works on FM...the second letter stands for Magic. :stirthepot: :stirthepot:
Btw, I have these LEDs myself and they are every bit as advertised. Thanks much, Davidk!

Thank you for the explanations. So basically, the precision of the internal semiconductor manufacturing tolerances is what reduces the timing variations between LED flashes to imperceptible levels. I think I can handle zero wiring, so I just ordered a set. Many thanks to Davidk for introducing this product.
I removed the two 10mm nuts inside the bags, and ... the light bar didn't even move! So I looked up the 2013 parts view, and sure enough, my "combination light" has 4 nuts instead of 2 (see part #18 in attachment). The other 2 nuts are not easily accessible -- not sure how to reach them and how much plastic I'll have to take out. But I suspect it will take more than 5 mins! :icon_frown:

I only see 4 total #18 nuts in the pic you attached. There are 2 in each bag. Where are the others you are talking about?
only four nuts hold the taillight in place.

Are you guys looking at a GL or F6 tail light ? I am thinking there are only two acorn nuts that are removed...
