I have those on the side of the tank on my FJR, and love them.

I've had them on my FJR for over a decade. They are shrinking very slightly, so you can see the edge of the adhesive section, but like I said, they've been on for over 10 years. This pic was taken last June.Quote:

Hey...if you dont mind a suggestion...check out a mini garage door opener. lots of places on the dashboard to place it w/ double sided foam tape. I put mine on the recess just to the left of the tach.
I did the same using stick-on velcro on the underside of my left cubby door.

Applying them in warmer weather is a plus too. If they're too cold, they don't wrap as easily.
Instructions are in the package. Clean the surfaces with an alcohol wipe. Place the Snakeskin where you want it, mark the spot lightly with a pencil, or some type marker that will be easy to remove. I used blue painters tape, to outline where I wanted it. Then you can check all around, both sides, for uniformity. Peel off the back, and stick in place. And yes, as Draxsr says, the warmer the better!
