I will be 66.....:icon_doh: when I purchase mine next year
53 and ready to RiDE this F6B till I am 63 :biker: Then F8B?
I turned 40 on the 17th. I was 30 when I purchased my first GL1800. 2003 Model
65 years wise this year.....right. Can't be too wise, still riding these things.
54 years young and lots of miles yet to ride.
I turned 70 just a bit ago. Have spent years doing a lot of skydiving but decided that it was prudent, considering my knee replacements, to knock off the jumping. I have consoled myself by trading my Valkyrie for the F6B. Wheee!
Traveling horizontally is a lot better than traveling vertically, I think. And congrats on the new purchase.. and turning 70.
Turn 65 this November! When I'm out riding I occasionally pass by one of those "Last Stop Hotels" (cemetery) and immediately appreciate and remind myself that being "over the hill" is much better than being "under the hill":clap2:
Im just a youngin...24 for the second time.
I will be 58 in September and was going to wait another year to get a new bike, but as fast as time is passing and also the fact that I have way more years behind me the in front I said geez what you waiting for.
will be 58 in December, and still love to go fast
I am currently 33 and almost bought a Goldwing when I was 28; thank god I waited a few years!
36 for me. I miss being able to vote in the youngest category. Missed it by that much.
45 when i purchased my F6B. The 4th bike I have purchased in 5 years.
41 :thumb:
I call it the complete evolution of a motorcyclist. Starting hunched over, feet tucked way up and back on the most aggressive sports bike I could afford. Overtime I found myself slowly sitting further upright, legs un-folding as a result. My last bike (which I still have), a Concours 1400 was very comfortable and what I thought was the peak of evolution, and then came the F6B. I am now what I consider fully evolved. This bike has such a neutral riding position I just don’t know what to think, but that’s ok, as long as I don’t start to De-evolutionize, aka Harley riding position. I am the proud 2%...
I'm beginning to get old @ 55.
My neck couldn't take my CBR anymore. Then I got a new VFR and that wasn't much better, certainly not for long trips.
This, and my husband's 2012, are the two most expensive bikes we've ever bought. Most young people don't have that sort of disposable income at that point in their careers..
I am 73 and motorcycling has kept me going through the bad times and my recent purchase of my 2013 f6b will keep me through whatever what lies head.
Welcome !!!!!!
64. First bike at 12, first Goldwing at 32.
Will be 65 in about 3 weeks, been riding since 1962. First Honda 1966 305 Super Hawk. In the garage sits: F6B, 2012 Super Tenere, 2011 650 Burgman, 1978 Honda CB550 and 1975 CB750, I restored both CB's to café racers. I bought my wife a Suzuki S40 which I ride every now and then.
Just turned 68. The F6B is my 42nd bike but who's counting? Been married 44 years so I guess that puts me a couple of bikes behind schedule. This new bike probably won't be the last but could hold me for quite a while:icon_cool:
Hmm, looks like I'm the youngest so far, I'm 31 :icon_biggrin:
You all may see yourselves as old farts but you never get older than the age you choose to be.
Hornblower, outstanding on both years!!!!! Not many do that anymore.....:clap2:
I got my first Goldwing when I was 20 years old. I drove it to Alaska and back. That was one of the best summers I've ever had. When I was 34, my daughter was born and I promised her I wouldn't ride bikes anymore. Now I turned 55 last week. I retired last year. I NEED TO RIDE AGAIN!!! I LOVE THE HONDA F6B. I have to figure out how I'm going to get one! Maybe if I sell my second car, but we have two little boys now and my wife doesn't want me to get a bike. I'll figure out a way! I want a Honda Goldwing f6b! I really want it!
I agree!! I am 32 and wanted to by a wing after several years of sport bikes, power cruisers and a harley. I would have except for the wife shut down the fact i also was considering a boat. She was not going for the motorcycle and a boat strategy, she has since changed her mind, thankfully i forcefully waited. This is by far one of the best bikes i have owned!!
45, went from a long line of Harleys to my 1st Goldwing.
Turning 45 in December...
52. I love my Valkyrie Tourer but this F6B made me fall in love all over again. So long, Fat Lady; Hello young and sexy!!!!
47 and almost bought the full wing until the F6B came out!!!
This is my first post.
Im 45 and I have an 86 V65 Magna, put 25,000 miles on a 03 VTX1800C,traded for a FJR1300 and found out that my 6'2 300 lb body didnt fit well, traded that on an 09 Yamaha Raider, and in the mean time picked up an 02 GL1800. I just traded the Raider and Wing in on my Black F6B Deluxe. Outside of the paint and radio volume issues I LOVE THIS THING!!!!!!!
......and getting Younger all the time.
My last name is Younger. Figure that out. :icon_lol:
62. Wife says I behave like I am 8 sometimes. There is such a wide range of ages posted, I think that's terrific. The one and only time I ever thought about age was last year after a 5 day hospital stay. (not bike related) Those thoughts went away as soon as I got the wind in my face again shortly thereafter. Aren't motorcycles just the best therapy ever?
Sweatshirt says "You never see a motorcycle parked at a psychiatrist's office"
