OH and Did I mention that the drivers on the Garden st parkway are nuts lol.
Good luck on your ride and enjoy....But are you sure your on the right web-site...Mostly info on the Honda F6B Goldwing is on this board and not Shadow's.....But welcome anyway!!!!
well it did say anything to do about motorcycles right.
You mean a sort solo ride. Anything less than 3 tanks of fuel fall into the short category. That's an easy ride. Enjoy and welcome.
Shrek is my good friend guys....we'll get him on an F6b!
Bring your A game, keep those crazy car drivers a safe distance from you all around, don't get into blind spots and enjoy the ride it's going to be a perfect weekend.
I was supposed to go on this but work got in the way.
Lol….I just completed a 31 state, 8334 mile solo ride clear around the country in 18 days….
Perspective is everything I guess….
Good luck

My ride….
Personally, I find driving in Jersey in a car to be dangerous, I would never drive with those maniacs on a bike
Wear something bright and take your time. Keep as much distance around you as possible, if possible. Expect everyone around you is about to do something stupid.
You'll be fine.
Welcome. Your biggest hindrance as I see it is the fact that you know Wayne. He has a black cloud hanging over his head. Wherever he goes he brings rain. He totaled out a primo M109R and then the other day he got screwed. Better find another riding buddy.
Be defensive as hell....keep a distance and don't let your mind wander. I catch myself doing that at times. Being alert is the main thing. If the weather looks good, I'm riding to MD on July 4th weekend. Family reunion, and I'll fight the traffic...screw it. This is my destiny, and I love riding.
It really depends on where in Jersey your going. The northern part is suicidal, the middle part is nuts, and the southern part is crazy. The good news is they have a mandatory helmet law!
If it wasn't for the beaches and in your case a son there's no good reason to go there.
If your going to travel the GSP. Bring lots of quarters you never know what the Governor is going to do there.:yikes:
