NEW What If ... a specific scenario

(In reality, it's just an old re-packaged question about what bike do you want)...

So, you are riding down the road on your F6B and a car pulls in front of you. You bust out your veteran rider moves and swerve to avoid the cager, but over do it and end up smashing through the window of a SleepNumber store, landing on the demonstration bed set to the softest setting.

Your bike is ruined, but you are unhurt.

Your bike is paid off, and you get a nice big insurance check for $12,500 after tax, deductible, and damaged gear applied.

What do you do with this check?

Me: This would be the down payment a new blue Wing Tour DCT. Perhaps the airbag model, but I do not like the color. I would consider a used prev-Gen Wing with ABS, XM, and nav to be able to pay cash.

$12,500.00 is my down payment on Isleen.

I would buy a new Goldwing Tour if I can't find a leftover B.

I would go to Vegas and put it all on black if you’re getting that lucky.

I'd probably buy another "B". Checks all my boxes.

A good nights sleep would be critical in this decision making you're asking of us.:)

Take off as many of my goodies that are still pretty & in working order. Start shopping for another shiny black B.

Not my exact situation but... I did end up with a 2018 standard. The upgraded electronics, suspension, abs really sold me. Not looking back now.

I love my F6 as well, and no plans at this time to make a move ... but ... I am betting I would follow Big Hutch's lead and not look back with a new machine ... particularly with ABS, AppleCarPlay, DCT and the bigger hips from Corbin.
