Fellow F6B riders: Can anyone share their experiences with the BikeMP3 cargo rack? Size, weight carrying capacity, etc? Do you get enough use out of it to warrant it's installation?
Thank you!

I have that rack on my bike.
Made from Aluminum, size/shape is perfect and fits the bike well. I haven't used it for a trip yet but I expect it to the job nicely.
Rack installs using same bolts that hold passenger backrest on, 4 longer bolts w/spacers.
This is the rack that Honda should have made.
I would second that. Just installed on my F6B. Very nice rack, compliments bike. Pete was a great help with the install since I got the Honda bike pieces with no directions. Removing the back top piece is a challenge. My F6B is my transportation. I use the rack with a cargo net to haul larger packages and an occasional grocery bag from Walmart. Plan to use for trips as soon as weather permits. May invest in a smaller top case to use on it if I can find a good one for a good price. Good investment for this bike. Still, it's you're decision. Good luck with whatever you decide. NCF6B
Nice rack happygirl I installed mine just the other day.It is strong and fits the bike perfect.Plus I got it on a black Friday deal for $99.99 plus shipping. You
will NOT be dissappointed if you get it.
This is the rack that Honda should have made.
I agree.
The rack Honda offered for the F6B was mislabeled and should have been on the new Grom. BikeMP3 did their homework and came up with a rack that's a perfect fit. Mine's on and it's not coming off.
Just did a 2,300 mile round trip from IL to FL and back. My bag weighed at least 40 lbs and the rack handled that with no problems and no scratches on the finish. I'm sure the Manufacturer would not state a 40 to 50 lb capacity due to legal reasons. But it handled it just fine on my bike.
This is the most generous sized rack of any I have used on bikes I have owned. Makes strapping a bag down much easier when you sit a bag on it and it stays in place while strapping down. No better rack available for the F6B IMO.
I put mine on as soon as I got it (one week after getting the F6b). Installation was simple, since I removed the passenger backrest and thus had the holes for the rack already on it.
It has held (in no particular order), bags of groceries, dog luggage, ornaments, and will hold my overhead airline luggage on next summer's trips. It is really well made, and as others have noted, is a beautiful addition to the rear end.

Great Rack! Much better than the OEM Honda rack! I love the aftermarket:041:
Fellow Honda F6B riders: I'm looking hard at the BikeMP3 rack, but it doesn't seem like it can be used with the passenger backrest that comes with the F6B Deluxe model? Is this correct?
Thank you for your continued input!

Yes, rack & backrest can be installed together. It does, in fact, use the same bolt location that mount the passenger backrest. You remove oe bolts for backrest and replace them with supplied (?) longer bolts w/spacers under rack. And it all bolts back on bike.
Note: Rack was on my bike by 1st owner, so I'm not 100% of supplied hardware, but I'll bet it is.
+1 cargo rack (MP3) and factory passenger backrest (Deluxe model) CAN BE installed together. No problems at all.

and now it comes with bolt hole covers.
I really like what Pete did in the design of this rack. I wish it had been available when I bought my bike last February. For those who bought the Honda OEM rack, I have found that attaching soft ties to the side of the skinny rack allows me to attach and secure larger luggage without having the wider rack. Once again, I would prefer Pete's offering but have found a way to use the original successfully.

My wife gave me it for Christmas. We have the backrest and it installed perfect. Just waiting until SNOW melts in the spring to gave it a try. I think it looks nice.
I just ordered my rack! And some of those cool emblem lights for the side fairing!
Well, I ordered that rack more than10 days ago and finally called bike mp3 to find out where the heck it was only to be told they don't have any right now?! I then ordered one from Wingstuff now they are saying shipping is delayed. WTH?
Sorry it's a popular item we only get so much water jet time each month, we increase the run quantity each time but we still manage to sell out its hard to judge between demand and money sitting around.
Good news they are in powder coat so we will have some in a few days and Wing Stuff normally get them 4 days after we do.
I like mine. I am well satisfied with quality and appearance.Looks factory.
I have had mine for three weeks - Super easy install on my Deluxe and I am totally happy with the rack!

And here are a couple more.
I've got to say, those bright lights I had installed are something great! They even light up the sides of the road!
I use mine with a cargo net. Looks good.
OK Pedro, I just another one from you so I hope it is in stock now as you say you just shipped some to wingstuff.....you have enough to send me one rom your factory now, am I right?
Mine is finally on the way from Bike MP3! Hope to get them tomorrow since I live in the same state!:041:
OK.....I did not cancel my order with them or the new one I placed with your company. At this point, I will just see which one comes first then cancel or return the other. Thanks and I'm glad this is such a popular item.
If you ended up with two I may be interested in one CheckpointChcky.
OK, I will let you know. They are hard to get sometimes but I think they are the best looking racks for this bike and they are bigger than the Honda ones.
Got mine Saturday here's pics. took all of 10 minutes to complete. :041:
