From the great state of Michigan and don't forget to check that final drive reservoir that has been the problem as a lot of them have not been topped off. My was 3 ounces low on a 4 ounce reservoir on my new 2015 Deluxe.

Another warm, wet welcome from Florida. Congrats. .welcome20.:congrats:
Welcome. Hope you we enjoy the ride. Stro I think we should change Seadogs 'handle' to "Final Drive".
Both my new and old ride.
Best bike I have owned, been riding for 35+ years. First bike was a 1972 Honda 450. Honda has come a long way!
Congrats fron the Volunteer State
+1 on checking the final drive oil level, mine was 1.5 to 2.0 oz's low. Told my dealer about it and it went in one ear and out the other. The 2015's have a bastard size hex on the fill plug however and a 17mm wrench is too loose. I had a friend mill out a 16mm 6-point box wrench to fit the plug, perfect now. Also, I topped it off with the recommended hypoid oil, Pro Honda 80W-90 purchased from the dealer.
Hey jim,
Tell us about your old ride vs the F, im a vtx1800 guy selling mine to get a f6b, i want a white 2016. I cant stop obsessing over the f6b. So how is it?Attachment 17574

Welcome from California. Enjoy your new ride. By the way you got the fastest color!
Hey there Audiochris . . . . I was riding a VTX 1300R for eight years before moving to the F6B just a couple months ago. Like you I obsessed about the bike before finally pulling the trigger. Love the looks of the '16 white but ended up with a nearly new '13 fast black due to price differential. Anyway, all I can say is you'll be amazed at how nimble the front end of the F6B is compared to the X. It's hard to describe really . . . just so easy to turn into the corners in comparison. Also no comparing the power and torque to my 1300 but hard to say how that stacks up against the 1800 X. Long story short? You'll love it.
