Eff that noise.....
For Sale. Harley Dyna, gently ridden by mature owner. HaHa.
Dam, he was maxed out on that dinosaur, but he can ride.
Death wish... he really came close to some of those rock outcroppings
That is impressive. Just shows that no matter how fast you think you are, there's always somebody that can make you look inept.. and on a Harley at that!
Hats off to him...
I was hoping they were gonna stop and talk to the blonde sitting on the Mustang.
At about 1:10 in the vid. No thank ya. Maybe on my ex DR650 SM set up. I like em shiny side up.
Thats the upper road near the rock store in SoCal. Santa Monica mountains has great roads up there.
holy crap that was crazy, That guy can ride
Now that I think about it, the guy making the video's a pretty darn good rider too, being able to keep up with the Harley rider. Didn't see him falling back very often or very far. Accolades to him too.
And all that in nothin but a t shirt and jeans
Yep at 1:10 he gets loose and gathers it back up, that's impressive, then continues to charge hard, that's balls, with jeans a tee shirt and a skull cap, that's stupid.
Like Dirty said , Man's got to know his Limitations. I would say he did. His limit is a little higher than mine.
Them young things heal so quick. Love the sparks he was blasting. Very impressive.
Wow. Very impressive.
In the interest of learning points:
1. Yes, this guy can ride - most probably has a lot of track time.
2. Yes, he knows that road very well.
3. The upper body technique he is using to keep the bike more upright so it doesn't scrape, catch, and flip him is taught at the ARC course.
4. The lower body technique is reserved for the track.
5. In all 50 states, "hanging off" a bike is illegal on public roads.
Cheers,
Steve
You are such a killjoy. Just enjoy it for what it is.:poke: Just for that me and Stro are gonna hang off the B at the rally and break some laws. I gotta talk to Stro first but I'm pretty sure he's in.
I hang off Isleen all the time - it's a fun technique to practice so if you ever need it, it's there. With the her ground clearance though, I've seldom had to use it if I just use the upper body shift.
Now Saorla? That's a different story altogether.....She has no lean angle whatsoever. I use upper and lower body shifting to keep her upright in twisties. Not as proficient as the rider in the video, but I'm not as young as he is either....lol.
