I know the speakers on my bike sound better when I use a portable player as opposed to the USB drive, as they have equalizers and also boost the music. I would think there would be some improvement in helmet speakers, but not sure if it would be enough to be perceptable due to the small size and fidelity characteristics of the speakers used in helmets.
I thought USB sounded better. I think I will do a head to head listen tomor
Thanks to STRaider and BroncsRule. Your input is appreciated.
I noticed that now that I have gotten the speakers positioned
right on my ears my Sena 20s sounds so much better.
I would suppose that the MP3 player might give you some variation in sound by way of equalization or preamp; but if were talking about the same bitrate song mixing etc.. then there should be no difference as the 1s and 0s them selves are identical between the two devices.
Expensive but amazing helmet speakers...

How are you using the speakers...replacing the stock Sena speakers of the speakers that come from J&M?
Yes to the positioning on the 20s. Very important.
Do you use these with the Sena 20?
