It takes more pigment to produce black paint than red therefore black is heaver and slower. :077:
Yellow is the new red. Red use to be fastest, but now yellow is clearly faster. Just look at the picture below for uncontreverted proof. Sadly, black has always been a bit behind..batman-smilie.
