Old Fiddlers Convention Gaxal Va.

Sounds weird...at first...but there is an Old Fiddlers convention in Galax, Va. from Aug 5 to Aug 10. Fiddling, banjoing, harping, guitaring, flatfoot dancing...and camping $100 for the week!

But, the real beauty is Galax is right in the heart of great mountain roads and the Smokies. Most of the fiddling around starts after 6:00 PM which is perfect for day rides. NC has some really world class twisties within a 100 miles or so.

I am planning on heading south but has anybody been there that may have some do's and DON'T MISS tips?
