I'm sure it gets a lot of attention like other goofy ideas, but NOT for the right reasons.
Sometimes I see things and ask myself "What was he thinking" .
Makes me scratch my head and laugh a little.

LOL. I am having a hard time determining the theme he was going for. Early gaudy I guess.
See not growing up in England like I did you guys are not used to seeing MOD's they were the clean and tidy guys and bikers were the rockers, stems back from the 60s lots of violence involved was going on right into the 80s when I started riding they would load the Lambrettas and Vespas with Mirrors and lights and ride around, public holidays both sides would meet at the seaside for a riot etc etc, there are still a few throwbacks the Vespa in the background is a 1997, want to know more then the film Qdadraphenia is the best way (Music by the WHO big MOD band)

It is really tough to look mean on a Vespa no matter how much you frown.
Actually some of the early mods were pretty bad ass kind of like the bike gangs here, then some as you say no matter how much you frown!!!!!
Wonder how many of those lights are functional
They used to try to get them all running but the electrical system was very weak they would dim and glow very quickly
The mouth painted on the fender pretty much sums it up.
