What are torque loops and. Bazzaz?

I 'm new to these mods and was hoping someone could provide a detailed explanation and comment on what increases in performance are expected. Thanks!!

Cat eliminator pipes, and also claim torque increase.
Not sure about all that but they do make some sweet exhaust pipes.
