Welcome. 2013 here as well. Just passed the 70K mile mark. BIG FUN.
70K miles using the Kury set-up. 6' 2" w/ 36" inseam. BTW, have gorilla length arms (lol) so also installed HeliBars. Expensive but well-worth the cost for long distance riding enjoyment...
Thanks.
Exactly.
I'll switch the xkursion full tour bag from vertical on the passenger seat to horizontally on the luggage rack, and place hers atop of it. Also, placed their bag atop of the other bag on the cargo...
Of courrrrrrrse. Mr. JackB
Just returned from a pseudo x country 3wk bike adventure. Along my travels I generally have 1 or 2 "lady friends" join me for 3 day clips of the adventure. They'd fly into 1 airport, memorable...
Might think about going w/ a simple camelback. BTW - a few years ago, got a late start on a long trip - later that day, got hit w/ 115 degrees going thru the desert. No relief even in the few rest...
What's her #?
I'll look into it. thx.
Engine light 'was not' blinking. Been 4 days - bike still running excellent.

Hey ALL - Here's the scenario:
Rode the '13 B out to the River (Colorado) Los Angeles to Needles. Handled the desert 102 temp - no problem. Rode great as usual. On the return home trip 2...
The CVO's are exceptionally beautiful bikes (used to sell 'em). But for touring - even weekend get aways - the B is the best bike I've ever owned. Looking to hit 70K plus miles on it this summer....
Yup, excellent riding out that way. If the crazy Canucks open up the border, thinking about doing Alaska (artic ocean) from Los Angeles. Be my 50th state on a bike. (rented one in Hawaii years...
Depending on where your friends home is located in Maine. If the CAN border is open - Hwy 201(? can't remember for sure thru Moose River & Jackman) along the Chaudiere River. 2 lane blacktop for a...
If you're doing Beartooth you might want to stay in Red Lodge - and if you do, have dinner at the Carbon County Steakhouse - one of the best dead carcass houses I've ever experienced. In the a.m....
Well done!
Thanks for your input. Believe 'still sitting in warehouse' on the 4th day after purchase reflects a 'not in-stock' issue, then a shipping issue. Would have drove to the warehouse for pick up, lol. ...
Won't be ordering tires from them next time - that's for sure. Ordered a set of in-stock tires early a.m. on the 25th - "they're going out today. Should have them by tomorrow or Thursday latest." I...
Yup, the absolute best bike I've ever owned - or ridden. May take the unemployment $$$ and do another 3 wk trip. You traveling anywhere this summer?
Welcome !!
Sounds good. Just hitting 50K miles on the B. When I hit around 100K, I'll probably go with the GW.
Hey Brian, everything west of Denver is pure riding paradise. You're blessed. And thank you too for proving a point I've been saying for years - ride the bike you want because your woman may...
Traveled x country a few times on the B. Would go with a good 1/2 cover instead.
