Glad you had a safe trip. I am also glad you got a chance to ride NM-152 and US-191, they are roads that I really enjoy riding. i am sure US-191 was cold. I had some customers that rode it about a week ago and they said they eventually put on all the clothes they had with them. They also said they saw quite a few elk which was a great bonus.
I didn't see any elk & it wasn't too bad temp wise. Leaving Taos & heading to Tierre Amarilla was chilly though, saw 37 up there. Got a pic of a pair of wolves, which was awesome! Gal in Tierre Amarilla said pass had only been open a couple weeks.
