    Amp and speaker question

I just bought a 13 F6B from the original owner. He had already purchased a Rockford Fosgate amp,An amp install kit ,A set of Hertz speakers and an ADD-On rear speaker install kit all new in box that came with it.Is it a major job to install? I live in central Ohio and would pay to get them installed if anyone can do it or knows someone that could.. thanks John

Like Papa said , I have a thread, there is another thread by Presorv and a few other on the topic. I had less than ideal results from trying to add an amplifier the simple way by just using the speaker level outputs from the OEM stuff to feed signals to an aftermarket amplifier. Others have done it and said it worked ok. Could be in the selection of the amp and or adapters. What I originally ended up doing was to bypass the OEM amplifier by tapping into the pre-out wiring from the "Audio Unit".

In the end, I completely did away with the Factory electronics as it relates to audio and have all aftermarket.
