T Bob. If you wish to try one out I have a CT on an extra rim. If you ride over here we can put it on your bike and you can try it out for a couple of weeks and then change back. That would give you a good idea if you like it or not before going thru the expense of mounting one yourself. Mine is going back on to finish off when the current MT is worn out.

Due to current events and opinions you may have to sign a release excluding me in case you explode or catch on fire.

Free country, your bike, your skin, run what you're comfortable riding & you want.
After following a buddy w/ a CT for few hundred miles, every time he leaned his VTX 1800 over on a turn, it would get on the edge of that CT & squirm around, I thought he was going down......BUT he got 38,000 miles out of it...……………OH!…..happy days..…………………...Me, I'll stick with the MC tires, get half the mileage & know my insurance co. will cover me.

    And the answer is: "Engineering"

'Minor' things like Statics, Dynamics, Themodynamics, Chemical Composition, Physics, Coefficients of Friction, Sidewall load ratings...etc.
