Always reaching for my lever actions when heading out for small game. Took my .410 Rossi lever out squirrel hunting two months back and came home with a nice hen turkey. Also have a Henry .22 with a scope for after the leaves are down.

Mini 14’s are so cool. My dad has one that I have shot quite a bit and it is always a good time.

I like the Henry for anything up to 100 yds. The 20" barrel will push a .357mag 158gr hollow point out at close to 1900 fps.

Anything farther than that, I pull out the bolt action 30-06 (with hand loads). It's good to 400 yds. My eyes won't let me shoot farther than that.

    Got her zero'ed..

...yesterday. I have a laser boresighter but just decided to to it the old fashioned way at the range. Sure was cold out there... not many folks were present.

Here's the Weaver mounted with the proprietary Ruger scope rings. I may need to move it forward a bit though... if you look closely you can see a hint of the blue buffer recoil pad installed. The M19!!A1 Wilson Combat buffer recoil pad worked very well... no problems chambering rounds or the bolt locking to the rear when required.

Working up shot groups @ 50 yards once I found the paper:

    What I ultimately settled for:

It's no target shooter and the groups open up considerably wider @ 100 yards, but I am satisfied with it. It runs flawlessly and is a really sweet semi auto to shoot. She's a keeper!

    Good looking mini

I have 2 of them...the stainless one i bought and the old blued one dad used to pack around in his truck. Although i wish i didnt have that second one quite yet.

I always wanted one of the factory folding stock guns just like the Ateam had but the price on those are simply ridiculous

    Anyway...happy shooting

Up here in Canada we have the big one!
Now we just have to find someone big enough to throw it!
