Finally ... a no noise Harley

An electric Harley coming soon. I can't wait for a GoldWing version.

Will probably have to add a recording and speaker to simulate that Harley sound! Actually, it will be interesting to see how this turns out!

Couple years ago I watched a show about a Harley electric prototype. Thing was amazing and very nice looking. Way of the future eventually.

My gf rides and electric bicycle to work every day and loves it. In heavy traffic, she's always home faster then anyone else, no insurance, no gas, no noise !!! She has an iZip. It's extremely reliable, the front basket can hold 60lbs, and on the rear she can hold even more. Her bike will hold a weeks worth of groceries. Here work is less then 3 miles away. For Christmas, I gave her an bluetooth speaker that fits in her cup holder so she can rock out as she goes down the road. She links it to her playlists on her iPhn. Because it's a bicycle, it cannot go faster the 20mph on it's own power. I think it has a range of more then 20 miles, and here in this state, she can also ride on sidewalks if she so chooses.

Electric motorcycles have a lot of potential. Zero brand motorcycles have had a pretty good go of it so far. The only maintenance is brakes and tires! No oil changes, gas, filters, valve adjustments, etc.

They will have to make sure parts fall off and oil leaks.

They will need to attach a weight to one side of the electric motor.., and maybe a one quart holding tank with a nipple at the bottom. You will have to top it off weekly that way it will slowly drip oil wherever you park.
That way you'll get the true Harley experience.., you know, your bike will have soul then.
Actually I think the electric motorcycle eventually will become a viable option when they get the battery technology refined. I heard about a month ago about a totally new type of battery that's being developed for the automotive industry, a completely new concept. Lighter, smaller, will fully charge in minutes and I believe they said a 600 mile range for automotive use.
When Tesla decides to make an electric motorcycle, I'm sure the motorcycling world will change then.
