Bridgestone Driveguard RF 195/55 16 run at 28--30 lbs. Never had a slip or slide, have about 28k on the tire now. Great hole shot, tho you can still bark loudly when you choose. Only issue is when going 0--5mph in parking lot can be a little awkward till you get used to tire. Nothing noticed after that. Very comfortable ride, softer. Handles great on the BRParkway and the Dragon. Has much higher payload rating than any bike tire (no need for dullies with Big Momma on the back). Will be putting on my second one soon. Use a BT45 130/70/18 in the front. This has 18k on it and a few thousand miles left. It is a rear sports bike tire with silica band in the middle and soft rubber on both outer edges for extra grip. I have more than 50% of rubber left in the middle of the BT45, but the edges are wearing down from pushing the bike hard in corners. I put 41psi in this one. Both tires are great and smooth on the highway especially if you use balance beads...

    1. Yes, and significantly better traction on gravel / dirt roads. Important for me because I live at the back if a 1.5 mile rugged dirt road.

    2. Haven't had it spin in therain.

    3. No.

    4. Driveguard Run Flat.

I think it would have better hole shot traction. Have not had a problem with any tire spinning (except a crappy Shinko) in the rain. Have not had a problem with any tire hydroplaning. Bridgestone Potenza RE-71R performance/summer tire. https://www.bridgestonetire.com/tire...2-16756ba37b15

    +1...
I sure am going to miss my Alpine 3 run flat when I have to change it out. 22,000 miles on it now, still plenty of tread. I'm just not sure what I will try next.
