You're damn sure having emotional stress over this. Plus the nightmares, headaches, scared every time a car gets behind you, causing personal problems at home & work and the list goes on & on. Maybe it's time to call one of those TV lawyers that do lots of MC cases...........................

    pu·ni·tive damages
    nounLaw
plural noun: punitive damages; plural noun: punitory damages

damages exceeding simple compensation and awarded to punish the defendant.

PUNISH would be the key word from this definition of punitive..........just my 2 cents worth.

That's for sure will, even in my car today I was experiencing extreme anxiety when I came to a stop constantly looking in the rear view and not taking my eyes off till the car behind me came to a full stop.

A guy pulled out in front of me a year ago (in my car) on the way to work. I was blinded by the sun and some stubborn frost on the windshield. A little knoll in the road sealed the deal. I rammed into him as he gradually accelerated. I was going 45, he was going 15.

Anyway, I still feel that anytime my eyes are not directly on the road, that I am going to look back and there will be a car, truck, person, animal there. Unfortunately, these events take a while to clear our minds.

I would never get another bike without one. My lawyer said "This is golden" regarding the video
