    2015 & 2016 Changes from the 2013 & 2014 besides color

This is what I was able to find on totalmotorcycle.

Feedback from owners has led to two specification upgrades for 2015. Reverse gear is now also original equipment on the Gold Wing F6B Deluxe. Operated from the right handlebar and driven by the electric starter motor reverse helps back the bike out of an uphill parking space, especially when loaded or with a pillion. The second addition – electronic cruise control – makes long highway days pass even more easily. Also a blacked-out muffler and adopts the same exhaust sound of the Valkyrie.

    My questions are:

    1) Do the 15, 16 have cable operated throttles like 13, 14 models or an electric throttle?
    2) Do all 15, 16 models have cruise or just the Deluxe models?
    3) Do all 15, 16 models have reverse or just the Deluxe models?
    4) What are the weight differences of the 15 & 16 models? The 14 base is 842 lbs and the 14 Deluxe is 848. 15 base ??, Deluxe 855 lbs.

    I have 2016 F6BD.
    1) cable operated throttle
    2) cruise control. Deluxe features that standard models do not have: Cruise control, center stand, passenger back rest.
    3) do not have reverse (wish I did)

Yep. None of the F6B’s have reverse.

There is no reverse on the USA model F6B. I have a 2015 deluxe. You do get a center stand and heated grips, along with the cruise control, and passenger backrest, as stated by seagravesg.

Also, I was told the 2015's had a throatier exhaust like the Valk over the 2013 and 2014 models. I test rode both and that seemed to be true. Now my TBR's make the stock pipes sound like a Vespa.

I’m pretty sure 15+ have cruise control. Doesn’t matter if deluxe or not. Deluxe adds heated grips, center stand, and passenger backrest.

Update transmission gears in 2014, helped shifting , cruise control on 2015s on the standard and deluxe, on US models. Canada got standard models with ABS breaking. Don’t know if they got cruise control on 15s and later. Other parts of the world also had reverse and ABS breaks. 2015 on had the louder exhaust.

They did. You had a choice between the standard and Deluxe in all US model years. The Deluxe gets you the center stand, passenger back rest, self canceleing turn signals and heated grips. The cruise control was really Honda’s foe paws on the 13 and 14. The Canadians got screwed with the standard model but got blessed with ABS breaking.

Like I said, they should have been standard.
