    Mrs. Bush

I have to tell you that I worked in the White House doing a phone upgrade the last year
    H.W. was there.
We worked some crazy hours and a time or two I would be in the same hallway
that she would be coming down.
Now when a member of the 1st family or the President would come the Secret Service
would push you in a in other hallway or what ever.
A number of times when I came across her and the Secret Service would do this she always made a point to tell the Hey it, only me!
Also she would have the kitchen staff send us snacks at 3am in the morning with a
A note saying thanks for what we were doing.
All I can say is she and H.W. were such a great example of the way to treat the little guy.
    Truly great people!

Class, grace, intelligence and wit - all wonderful attributes of this wonderful woman. Not seeing so much of that these days, what a pity. "Well done, good and faithful servant."
Rest in the arms of your God, Barbara.

Had to laugh at a story told today by her son W
Barbara when called by any of her sons would always tell them they were her favorite son on the phone.
