    RIP Gunny

I met the Gunny several times and he was always sincere and friendly. Truly a genuinely nice human being and true patriot...Unlike the most of Hollyweird.

I watched Full Metal Jacket again last night in your honor.

    Godspeed.

If you are not part of the solution, YOU are the problem.

Where the people fear the government you have tyranny. Where the government fears the people you have liberty.

One of my all-time favorite films, “The Siege of Fire Base Gloria”.

Gunny's portrayal of a D. I. Was the most realistic I have ever seen on film. When I think of those guys given 8 weeks to turn kids into soldiers and marines I am always amazed at what they did for us. R.I.P. Gunny Ermy. You were the real deal not some Hollywood pussy pretending to be tough. F6Broy
