    Thank You Rick !

Gentlemen, please forgive me for being out of pocket.

I am swamped with my work, I feel like a ONE legged man in a butt kicking contest.

My Bike has had a electrical issue since last year and I haven't had time to take it to the stealership.

Bo brake lights, no horn, no turn signals .... checked all of the relays, fuses and everything is fine.

Looking for possibly a lose negative lead or broken wire under the seat.

it is a older Goldwing so age does come into play sometimes. Only has 10,000 miles.

looking forward to both events, I need the break

Successful people build each other up. They motivate, inspire and push each other. Unsuccessful people just hate, blame and complain.

Anybody from the Dallas area going to Cortez?
I'll probably be leaving on the 22nd. Early start should put me there before dark.
I've done a lot of miles by myself but wouldn't mind some company.

Maurice the owner of MBL Innovations was at our Spyder Rally last weekend. He stated he would be sending us Riser's and Electronic Saddlebag door releases for us to give away as door prizes for both the Cortez and Cherokee Rallies.

Rick, please add myself to the list of attendees. My wife is still out on whether or not she'll be coming.

We are needing volunteers to lead rides and help with the Rally in Cortez.

If you would like to lead a ride and have a route please contact us. The escorted rides should be no more then about 300 miles with appropriate stops and plans for lunch. There will need to be a person in the rear to assure the group stays together. The rides need to be at normal speeds (no excessive speeds), safety is a high priority.

    Rick,

Just sent you an email with pretty much this same info and also included PDF maps and directions from Basecamp.

I can lead rides on Thursday and Friday, but I will be departing on Saturday morning. Know that whole area really well after years of riding all over SW Colorado many times. I'll be staying at the Hampton Inn, but will hang at the Super 8 with everyone.

Also, I will be riding down on Wednesday 22nd from the Colorado Springs area, so if anyone is coming through and wants to ride from the Denver or Colorado Springs area, that would be great. If so, we'll figure out where to rendezous, but I will probably ride Woodland Park > Antero Junction > Buena Vista > Poncha Springs > DelNorte > South Fork > Wolf Creek Pass > Pagosa Springs > Cortez. But, if someone wants, I can change my routing plans to do other possibilities -- there are so many.

Also, if anyone else in departing on Saturday, I'll be headed back to Colorado Springs via a route to be determined.

    Dave

    • On Thursday: San Juan Skyway -- Cortez > Delores > Rico > Lizard Head Pass > Telluride > Dallas Divide > Ridgeway > Ouray > Silverton > Durango > Cortez 244 miles
    • On Friday: (1a) Lake City RTE -- Cortez > Durango > Pagosa Springs > Wolf Creek Pass > South ForK > Creede > Rio Grande River Valley > North Clear Creek Falls > Spring Creek Pass > Slumgullion Pass > Lake City (for lunch ) > Return in reverse direction (like a whole different ride/perspective) 436 miles
(1b) Lake City Loop (aka Taste of Colorado) -- Cortez > Rico > Telluride area > Dallas Divide > Ridgeway > Montrose > Blue Mesa Reservoir > Lake City > Slumgullion Pass > Spring Creek Pass > North Clear Creek Falls > Rio Grande River Valley > Creede > South Fork > Wolf Creek Pass > Pagosa Springs > Durango > Cortez (453 miles) [if via Million Dollar Highway, Silverton, Ouray would be 470 miles]
    • or
    • (2) Gateway Run -- Cortez > Dove Creek > Naturita > Flume Scenic VU > Delores River Canyon > Gateway > Delores River Canyon > Naturita > Norwood > San Miguel River Canyon > Placerville > Telluride (area) > Lizard Head Pass > Rico > Delores > Cortez 322 miles
