    Airbag model?

Has anyone ordered or purchased an air bag model? If I were in the market, that would be the model I would be looking at ... even though the only color package it comes with, I do not care for.

Rex, not really looking for any specific information, just never see the airbag model in videos or in dealers. Was simply wondering why they aren't more popular. The airbag is a great safety feature.

You know most people have a problem with the cost of a motorcycle as it is, then a few more thousand for a air bag.
The air bag is just like insurance you only need it when you need it, or your helmet so best to be covered at all times.

Totally agree. Did you know that Honda has data that shows 300 air bag deployments on the GL1800, and zero fatalities on those bikes?

If I was in the market for one, I would go for the air bag model, even though I would prefer the blue color; not available with the air bag. Perhaps in future years.

Some of the older models pre 2015 have been recalled here in Australia to have the faulty Takata air bags replaced.
