For those 2013-14 models that want Cruise Control............

I always prefer the simple throttle lock over the complicated and troublesome electronic cruise that the 2015-16 have.

I don't think it'll work on Heli bars w/ the Kury grip...……………….. will it?

Had one of those on every bike I've owned since 83. Simple and effective. Makes scratchin' that right butt cheek so much easier.

Just out of curiosity, why do you say "the complicated and troublesome electronic cruise that the 2015-16 have"? I have 41K on my 2015 with thousands of those miles with the cruise control on and find it totally reliable, just as in any car I've owned. The Goldwings have had cruise for over 15 years with excellent reliability and very few failures.

Amen to that! Best feature I ever got on my bike. There is nothing complicated about it. Like you said, just like a car. I own a VTX 1800F and I installed the throttle lock and it only works on flat terrain, and it really does not maintain the speed needing constant adjustment.

I think he means installing it if you don't have it can be "complicated & troublesome" not to mention costly. I don't think the '13 & '14's had cruise available, I might be wrong.

You are right they did not offer it in 13 and 14.
You can buy a kit to install it.
It is a bit pricey, but works very well. Not that hard to install
if you take your time and instructions are well done and complete
    from start to finish.

Does it work with heated grips?

Of course it works with heated grips. That's how the Deluxe comes.
