    Before I compare the MP3 player to the USB, I would make sure first that I have my Speakers in my Helmet mounted in the very correct spot. Speaker placement makes a Huge.... difference.

    My experience is that in-helmet speakers are great for audio books but too inconsistent for music. I gave up on in-helmet for music and went with Shure SE215-K sound isolating in-ear blue tooth speakers.

    +1 on position is important it is worth the time to set the speakers, properly in the helmet. when you do it is like wearing headphones, bass is clear, the highs are crisp, volume level is set lower and the battery last longer also
