Sort of new memeber

Hi, all,

About four years ago I was briefly on this board as I contemplated buying a used F6B. The deal didn’t work out, and I ended up buying a wonderful 2012 Super Tenere. But the test ride I took on the F6B has haunted me ever since.

I’ve put more than 30,000 miles on the S10, and my body is starting to tell me that a lower-slung, lower center-of-gravity bike is more appropriate to my aging body, so I’ve put the Super Tenere up for sale and hope to be buying a stripped-down Wing of some flavor in the next year. So I’m back here to mostly lurk but also ask the occasional question. And if anyone is interested in a great rally ready/long distance/Iron Butt bike, you can see my listing here. Welcome back. You have probably noticed the sharp drop in resale value on our machines. There are excellent deals to be had. Best value for the money as far as I am concerned! Good luck on your sale and moving to the best bike on the road.

That’s one of the things I expected with the new Wings out there. Would love a 2018 stripped Wing, but my bank account does not.

I would very much love that! Though I like the look of the prices of lightly ridden 2013 models.
