    Corbin Smuggler Seat

Anybody tried this? A bit pricey but I'm considering it.

I believe 53driver and a few others have this setup and seem to luv it. I believe you need the saddle release remote setup for it to work tho.

I have one on my FJR and love it. Bought it second hand, however, so not as expensive. I don't like the loss of the hand rails on the B, so won't be getting one.

I have one. Corbin is way too hard for me I had RDL redo the seat. The Corbin seat pan is very thick (over 1.25" in places) & would make me sit up too high. I ground away about 90% of it before I sent it to RDL. They did a great job & I love it. The Smuggler trunk really comes in handy. I found a good used one on this forum.

The shape of that seat is perfect. The small rise on the sides takes the weight off the hip joint.
But Corbin has always had hard seats. I put up with one for 3 years and it did not get "broke in".
    ITS ALL GOOD

Corbin's are hard because the pan is very thick (1+") & has very little foam. When I took mine apart before I sent it to RDL, I was shocked that interior workmenship was so poor.

If anyone has purchased one of these in the Silver Matte, I'd love to see some pics of it.
