    Utopia Backrest won't stay up

Hello guys. Last year I sent my stock seat of my F6B to be modified by mean city cycles and they added a Utopia backrest. The problem I have is that since I got it I cannot keep the thing up (no pun intended jeje) and I'm trying to figure out if I'm doing something wrong. While I'm riding is no problem but when I stop I need to move forward a little to be able to plant my feet on the ground and that's when the backrest falls against my back. I have to keep the backrest forward about 3" because I'm 5'7" and that's the best way to reach the handlebar comfortably. I own a VTX 1800F and I don't have that problem with that backrest. Any thoughts will be appreciated.
    Happy rides!

Tighten up the bolt where it pivots.

I added a 1 1/2” spacer so I could stand it up. I then tightened up the bolt down by the seat and the bolt at the back pad pivot point. When I replaced my 13 with a 14 I went with the Show Chrome.
