saddle bag stuck closed

I have one on the left side that doesnt open once or twice a year. Its always the spring not returning the latch.
The dust seems to collect alot right there.
So everytime the seat is off I hit it with a shot of air and oil the moving parts.
When I use a blow gun under the seat it blows up a big cloud of dust.

Thanks for the reply. Because I needed it opened ASAP, I went back and banged all around the right compartment, as well as the area around the lock and it eventually opened. I will need to take the seat off and lubricate all of those components.
