Question Recommendations for 2016 F6BD seat/backrest for driver

New on this thread and impressed with your knowledge. I’m 6’4” with 35” inseam. Planning long ride next month and I’m looking for recommendations on what you think is the best seat for comfort including backrest.

Too short of a time frame to get a good seat in my opinion. Pack a bag for the trip and strap it down on the rear seat and use it as a back rest to make sure you want a one, they really get in the way for me and limit room to stretch my back and such. Some people love them. A Russel Day Long is what I have and like it much but they do have a long lead time to make one to your specs. It 6'3" you need to move up and back some I think and RDL can do that.

Another quick one would be a sheep skin if the seat you have now isn't too bad on the behind.
    ITS ALL GOOD

Second the Ultimate King. I am 6'5" and have 36 inch inseam. Got one with driver and passenger back rest, but mostly ride solo. I have had them on Legacy Valks for many years

Check out Hartco Seats. They will build one to your specs in 30 days. You can get a huge back rest with it. I love mine

Ultimate King w/backrest. I’m 6’4” with 36” inseam. Love it. Plus the Ergo pegs. Makes for a comfy ride. Get the ride on covers for the Ultimate though. It does not like getting wet. The memory foam really sucks up and keeps the water.

Plus one on the Ergo pegs. They have fantastic adjust-ability as well.

Thank you all for the input. I’ll try the AirHawk for the short term and will look into an aftermarket seat later on. The Ergo pegs sound like a great idea to stretch out the legs on long highway/backroad rides.

Russell Day Long, preferred seat of Iron Butt guys. I have one and 10 hours is easy on it.
