Keep in mind, there will be, NO.. 911, fire fighters, EMT's, police & hospitals all closed, no power, no food, stores closed, no water, nothing coming in & you can't get out once it hits ...…………… you're on our own.....it can & will be physically & mentally exhausting... Fortunately we live in a small town where everyone prepares for natural disasters and tend to be self sufficient. We have a tractor run generator that will power everything we have including the well and the house. I also have chain saws and a front end loader for cleaning up storm debris. As a general rule we keep supplies for a month as well as a year's worth of stuff (canned goods and freeze dried food) and medical supplies in case of zombie attack.

My concern is for the people who moved in to subdivisions to get the country living experience and don't know what to do.

Oh well, when the SHTF we will get along as best as we can, God willing.
