Usually off strip at a cheaper hotel unless my wife comes along. Parking is not a problem as most vendors/activity is on Freemont st.

As mentioned, weather this time of year in CO is dicey. You can leave and not be able to get back into the state ! or just as likely to return to a nice summer day ...

Actually had to overnight in Rifle last year on way home due to a minor snow storm. It's always a last minute decision now that I live in CO. Always a good ride and time.
