Aye Carumba!
I was going to brag about how I've got 13,000 miles on my 2nd 'Stone out back ... still not quite down to the wear bar, but very, very close. (I have new one in the garage, ready to install as soon as the deer start moving and the roads become unrideable)
Former Ride:
2013 F6B Standard, black; sold 7/2019
Latest Addition:
2016 Gold Wing Level 3, red; SCT transmission stuck in manual mode
2019 Miles:
7,900 as of 10/6
My life is too valuable to save a few bucks by putting those extra miles on tires. Mine get changed when they hit the wear bars. JMHO. To each their own!

I agree. I change tires just before the wear bars. Especially here in Florida when the summer rains come down.
Not worth the risk. IMO
Just ordered some 'Stones from DK.
18 Oct is the last day for the $30 per tire rebate from Bridgestone!

I used to ride them into the fiber but now older and also replace as soon or even before the wear indicators show.
My new tire was thick and very ridged in the center.
The old one felt like I could push my finger through it in the center.
That was 12,500 miles with no cords showing. Scary soft!
ITS ALL GOOD
