I'm convinced that at the quantum physics level, Isleen & I become one entity.
Especially with some great southern rock on the stereo....'Flirtin' With Disaster' being our favorite!

    What if...
...I'm teaching a Motorcycle Safety Foundation Basic Rider Course this weekend?

Under a contract for the US Navy Traffic Safety program, I'll have 6 military students.
All day Saturday & all day Sunday. Gonna be fun!

    We had a blast!
6 GREAT students, 3 of them brand new riders, 3 of them had 'some' experience.
Needless to say, the new riders are ALWAYS my best students - no bad habits to break!
The common denominator in experienced rider problems continues to be these two things:
    1. Not setting throttle and using the friction zone (aka 'riding the clutch') for low speed maneuvers.
    2. Not keeping the head (not just eyes...use the whole head) up and in the direction of intended travel. Using the whole head forces the arms and body to shift to permit proper control inputs.

It's a joy to watch these riders "get it" when they do.
You can see the light bulb go on over their head, the huge smile under their helmet, and the twinkle in their eye.
    That's why I do this.
    Cheers,
    Steve

Here in north eastern Ohio hills, when I pull away from a stop, easily accelerate down the road into a gentle sweeping turn,
still on the gas a little coming out the other side,
I just have to look up and smile. What a great life.
At my age its better that sex.
Hell, better than a York peppermint patty!

Good form! Maintenance throttle going into the turn (no chopping!) and then as soon as you see the exit, start getting on her!

    Also, I guess you're a LOT older than me.....lol!!!!!
