    changed a light bulb

Wife: "So, what did you do today ?"
Husband: "I changed a light bulb"
    Wife: "That's all ?"
Husband: "Yeah, but I filmed it."

That's cool! When I was a young man I used to perform maintenance on the ski lifts at a major resort. Great fun hanging from those towers. No way I could do it now!

Looks like a good time and he’s getting paid. Gotta be tough to lug those big balls all the way to the top.

Way back when I was a lineman for the power company, a couple of work buddies (not me) did that for local radio stations. Seems like they were about 300 ft high. The one in the video is much, much higher than that. Looks EZ but it ain't.

Last summer, the power company, was running the cables on a high voltage line, adjacent to the interstate. The towers were about 120', high. There was a very small helicopter, hovering right next to the top of the tower, an a worker was wrenching bolts on the cables, while standing on the choppers skid. He was harnessed to the chopper, but I watched and was amazed. The prop on the chopper was just a few feet from the tower. Seems like a gust of wind, would have been deadly. That worker sure had trust in that pilot!
